Hi Craig,
Are you planning to overclock your cpu? An i5-3570 will be a cheaper and good alternative for a gaming rig, you could perhaps consider SLI (add a 2nd nvidia gpu) in the future to improve gaming performance but you would need to upgrade your motherboard and PSU for that (P8Z77-V SLI + 750w PSU). A gtx 680 4gb will bring minimal improvement compare to the 2gb version at higher resolutions (3 monitors), if you are gaming in 1 monitor a GTX 680 2gb or GTX 670 will be a cheaper alternative.

hey thanks for the help, i am abit of a novice with the interworkings of the pc, i know enough to get by (kind off lol), but not enough to know how how to overclock lol ><, its just the one display i am using atm, and was planning to keep a 32" hd tv, if i change the motherboard to the one u stated would 2x 4gig nvidas ( in the future ) be that much better than 2x 2 gigs? or not worth the cash?

I think PCS still uses the palit jetstream for the GTX 680 4gb. If that is the case 2 x GTX 680 2gb will outperform 2 x GTX 680 4gb in 1 monitor since the 4gb version does not come pre-overclock. I'd suggest going for a GTX 670, it is more than £100 cheaper and offers close performance to the GTX 680.

hey thanks for the reply, there is kind of a buget i dont want to pay £££'s xtra not to notice the difference lol. The one thing i dont get is the processor, the one i picked on the build below is 2nd gen, but if i pick the 3rd gen intel I7 i7-3370k(3.5gig) 8mb cache it £5 cheaper and thats the highest one on the list, does the 3rd gen not come with HD graphics ? is that why the 2nd gen is £5 dearer than the 3rd gen? there so many different options for each bit my heads getting abit confused lol ><

Since you are choosing a dedicated gpu the integrated graphics card would not really matter but the ivy bridge has a better integrated graphics card than the i7-2700k. I am not sure about prices but the i7-3770k is slightly better than the i7-2700k. The non-pro version of the motherboard you selected will be fine, if you are planning to overclock your cpu I'd suggest a pre-overclocked system from PCS to avoid instability issues and get covered by their warranty.
