Gaming PC setup by someone who doesn't know a lot.. requires clever eyes to check

Hello!

So after having a lot of trouble with my old system - being too slow for gaming and streaming - I think I have put together a system that should stand up to the task of running the lastest games also being able to stream live on twitch and record well on dxtory.

Below is the setup. Suggestions and recommendations welcomed!

For £1500 or a bit higher I would consider at least the gtx 1070, an ssd as the main drive and a caviar black as the secondary drive. Are you planning to overclock your cpu?

I would suggest waiting a week or so for the new Kaby Lake CPUs to be released. While a modest upgrade over Skylake (e.g. the i7 6700k), they are an upgrade and are expected to retail for a similar price. You might as well hold off and see where the dice land then. :)

True. Might have to wait until mid-February for the Kaby Lake though. It does sound like a good move though.

Who said mid February? They were sent out by Intel for review weeks ago and many new motherboards have already been pictured.

They've been officially announced by Intel now as well, and laptops with the new CPUs (and indeed new GPUs) have already had pricing unveiled.
