Gaming PC spec

Hi guys, short and sweet -
PC needs to run big titled AAA games like RDR2.

Monitor is an Acer Nitro 4K monitor, i need to know if the specs of my PC will run okay with this. Heres the link to the monitor - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/model/UM.HV0EE.010

Also need to know if my RAM and graphics hard will be okay with demanding games.

Budget is between £1,100 & £1,300 just for the tower.

Hi there,

Unfortunately with a 4k monitor you are looking at a 2080 Super at the very least to drive it. You would actually be aiming for a 2080Ti for AAA rated games.

Have you already purchased the monitor? With a budget of £1300 you would just be able to squeeze in a low refresh 1440p system but you would be more looking at £1500 to do it well.

For 4k you would need to budget around £1800-£2000.

The Acer Nitro monitors are incredible value and extremely well rated for the price, you get very high end panels. It’s a good choice for 1080p high refresh.

I believe you may have just pasted the same config as before? It hasn't really taken anything into account?

This is where I would personally start.... but I would purchase a QHD monitor rather than a 1080p one. If you want to go for 1080p but have future potential, go with exactly the same build but with the 1660 Super selected instead of the 2060.

Basically this build with either or the following:

1080p = 1660 Super
1440p = As below
1440p high end = 2070 Super (This will stretch the budget but give HIGH end 1440p gaming)
