Gaming PC with Streaming Capabilities.

I've never really had a machine capable of playing top end games especially while also streaming a face camera etc. I'm looking to rectify this while also getting a functional PC that can last me a good long time with upgrades in the future (especially if/when graphics card stock and prices return to normal). I followed the Guides here to come up with most of this build but wanted some input on any changes I should make without changing the budget too much. I'd also like to get into more video editing/image editing if I can too.

Hi Mate,

I've made a few changes, you had a solid build to begin with I've just optimised a little

Main change was the PSU, I went with a 750W RMx to give you a very high standard of PSU will also giving you enough power to make upgrades in the future. This PSU will last a lifetime

Cooling I changed to the H150i, the 5800x runs very very hot so I went with the best cooling option available which I would recommend

I've also went with two M.2 SSD drives for your storage. The 980 Pro is for the OS and a few key programs and the other 1TB M.2 is for your general storage (games, etc)

Any questions fire away

Its really worth it to have a corsair hi cooler as its way better at cooling the 5800x and will run quieter then the coolmaster can imagine your streamers wont appreciate the noise from the coolmaster

Looks like @Steveyg beat me to it, top build here, should do you nicely, and will upgrade to 1440p in the future with just a new graphics card

Cheers mate, I have a couple of questions on my original specs. Obviously I've taken a step down on the graphics card (both to save cost and wait times). This was also influenced by my current monitor, I assume that this hasn't changed means I've selected the right "level" to start at.

The other question is on the case. I used the guides to pick it out but if you think there is a better option I'd love to know, I also note I can add an extra fan to the case and was wondering if that is worth it at all or may cause more problems than benefits it provides?

The case you've selected comes with fans then the CPU AIO cooler I've selected also comes with fans so that should have you covered for airflow

As for the case I'd personally recommend the Corsair 5000D Airflow. It's a great case and I think it looks awesome, the Coolermaster case is a good choice too I personally just like the 5000D so I'm biased

As for the GPU I would honestly probably recommend even dropping the 1660 Super to make a bit of savings, as the build is really suited to a 1440p GPU that you can pick up in the next year or so. Let's you make savings now to then upgrade later. The 2060 is a great choice for 1080p and it supports RTX so I'd say you've gone for the best option in your price range with that

i think I will stick with the 2060 as the 20 euro or so in savings isn't going to make a huge deal for me right now and I can wait a good while for upgrades after that then. (if the shortage continues). Thanks for all your help!
