What do you think of this as a gaming rig and everyday use?

Question : Does that blue ray dvd/rw work for normal CD's aswell? Could i watch normal DVD's and install games via that ?

A blue ray drive will work fine on normal discs/cd's etc and i read somewhere that it can also improve the image from a normal dvd as well, though not sure how that works.

that is not the player as far as i know, that is the HDMI upscaling it, they look pretty good on my xbox actually

That explains that i just remember a report i read on a ps3 that the dvd's would be clearer, so presumed it was the player, but yes my ps3 shows films very nicely
