Any recommendations or changes for this PC spec below? my cash limit is £1250.00 with the intention of it lasting more than 2 years.

Swap the HDD for a Caviar Black, a faster drive which will aloow faster startups, faster loading of games and faster transfer of video. Worth the upgrade for sure.

8GB of RAM would probably see you through 2 years to be honest, for gaming your probably going to be looking at using a full 8GB in 2 years time. It is very easy to add more later if you wished to, 16GB is an awful lot at the moment even for video editing, especially combined with an i5 2500.

Other than that it will play every game maxed out, and will still be going strong in 2 years.

thx for the info, i swapped out the hard drives but will probably keep the RAM since i have a lot of applications up at the same time (fraps, games, etc).
