Get Diablo IV standard edition plus additional content with Select GeForce RTX 40 Series! Promo issue

We have followed the instructions below but get invalid code error. Has anyone else had this issue?

Redeem your coupon through GeForce Experience.
To redeem your promotional code for Diablo® IV you must have a GeForce Experience and a Battle.net account. Please follow the steps below:

1. Install your qualified graphics card.
2. Update or install the latest version of GeForce Experience. (Version 3.18 or higher)
3. Open and log in to GeForce Experience.
4. Go to the Account drop-down menu and select “REDEEM”.
5. Enter your bundle code from your qualifying bundle purchase.
6. Follow the remaining instructions on screen to sign in through your Battle.net account.
7. Select “REDEEM” to redeem Diablo® IV to your Battle.net account.
8. LAUNCH Battle.net to begin installation.

Code has expired, but we only took delivery of the PC yesterday.
Part of the email reads :-

This code expires on Thursday, 13 July 2023 and must be redeemed before this date, otherwise it might not work and you might not receive the game.

For digital promotions, please do not activate the code until you are using your new computer because you cannot use the code twice. The code is also available on your account which you can access when you login to our website at https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk.

I got the game with a recent 4080 purchase. It came through and activated for me without issue. I'm wondering if perhaps the activation has gone through, but there's been some sort of mixup with the account or login during the steps?

As above, worth giving PCS a call to see what they can do. My guess is there won't be a lot, as its a promo by Nvidia I believe, but it's a starting point at least.

Have you checked to see if you can actually install the game? Just in case it's already loaded onto your Battle.net account.

Mine didn’t work originally, but my error was because I was trying to redeem it with my old GPU in, and it told me that was why.

…and I only tried because I realised I was one PCIe PSU cable short for the 4090, and really didn’t want to fight the PSU out of the back of the 220T case again 🤬

The Email with the code was received on the 14th with the code saying it would expire on the 13th, received pc on the 14th and surprise the code didn't work. PC Specialist WHY send a code thats already expired?
Also called Tech support who said ticket has been raise and a 'patch' would be made on the system for the code to work. Not heard anything!!

Either way PCS need to own up to a mistake, forget T &C's why send an out of date email and give false information on there tech line?

It hasn't expired though, it states the offer expires 13th July which is next month.

It's possible all available units for the promo have already been claimed, they will normally stipulate "while stocks are available"

It's equally possible it's an error, which it appears PCS have alluded to.

Just be patient, PCS will get back in touch when they can
