Good for a first PC?

For gaming you would be better off with the GPU in the first build. You can always add an SSD later on, plus you would be better off with a 240/250GB SSD, which is well outside of your budget now but would be a great addition when you have some more cash.

The first build would be better anyway, as you can always add an SSD later. Also, you could buy a windows key from kinguin, since it's a lot cheaper, giving you more money to spend on actual components

How does a Windows key work and how would I install it? (Not too good with that stuff)

You'd have to download windows onto a usb or DVD and then you just type in the code at the end of installation. On kinguin windows 7 pro is £10.50 for example, so that could save you enough to buy something like a small SSD to go with the 970 build :)

I need a PC that can run GTA 5, Bo3, BF Hardline, etc. I'd like an SSD and if possible the NZXT H440. I'll also need WiFi. My budget is £765.00

ItsPhire, as previously stated it's best if you stick to one thread, then the same questions don't get asked :)
So I've merged your threads together again.

The build posted before with a 970 would be most suited. No point in starting new threads as it just confuses people

And a suggestion has been posted already. If not happy with those you could just go with your original spec that you did not intend to change originally. My advice would be to drop the ssd to get the best gpu available

i3 4160 gtx 970 or i5 4460 gtx 960

Games: Gta v, bo2/3, bf hardline and some more

If it is related to your same build it would be better to stick to the same thread. Regarding your query an i3 with a gtx 970 is not a good idea. You were suggested an i5 for your budget because it is the best choice within your budget. An i3 is going to bottleneck a gtx 970 for cpu intensive games.

Does anyone have a link for a video about installing an OS using a USB? I can't find one. And is kinguin a trusted source, I'll assume so as you guys have recommended it.
