Yeah definitely. So I got my current set up completely free (980TI graphics card and i7 6700K) and the only thing I have ever changed in it is the RAM which was about a year ago. Went from 2 x 4GB to 2 x 8GB. That's the first time I''ve ever opened a PC up and tbf it was very straight forward.. That's why I don't know much about PC's .. I'm using one but I didn't have to work out the specs. Upgrading has definitely made me a lot more interested. Think the next time I ever get a PC might actually build it myself.... will most likely come here for some advice before I do that tho lol

Just bear in mind that as this is a PC Specialist owned forum, we wouldn’t be allowed to offer hardware advice if you were doing a self build in future...

But if you need to upgrade or troubleshoot your new baby over the next however many years, the forum will have your back 👍
