then 30 fps will be just fine for gameplay with no lag , if you want to see the difference between 30fps & 60 fps , play battlefield 3 (30fps) & then a call of duty game (60fps) , play them on a 360 or a ps3.

I don't have bf3 but I assume I'll want to run it at 60fps as I have mw3 on ps3 and its good looking but bit straight edged it seems. Btw when I ment setting I ment AA to the max as well.

Also I just read this post http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?15853-Pci-and-Pci-e-slots-explained
Which says there would be a free pci-e slot above the Gpu free for sound card when I sli two of them.

Yes but would you want your sound card resting literally millimeters away from the top of the Graphics cards PCB ? , they can get so hot they can cause burns sometimes .

Also if your after 60FPS & max AA then the 670 wont cut it on all games (battlefield 3 , red faction guerrilla & witcher 2) for this you would need at leased a GTX 680 (but even that wont max out battlefield 3 at 60 on its own) - you'll need at leased two GTX-580s to max out everything at 60fps , or 2x GTX-670s , 2x GTX-680s or 1x GTX-690) - it all gets a bit expensive to max out everything at 60fps im afraid

Well as long as I can get 45+ I think I'll be happy as one one of my previous threads it was mentioned that 40-60 is no lag gameplay.
Yh it does sound bit risky but I don't think overheating would be a problem with my case as it has 4fans and one of them is in the side panel next to PCI-e slot and the top Gpu slot
Would it achieve 45+ fps?

with a GTX 670 you will be getting 60fps with MOST games - just not ALL games ( battlefield 3 , witcher 2 red faction guerrilla) - there must be others out there.

do you listen to a lot of music in high bitrate quality or do high end music production ? or have some other requirement for the sound card ? - if not then the on board sound card should be more than adequate as they are mostly HD sound cards anyway (usually realtek)

First i saw my motherboard only supports CrossFireX which means i wont be able to SLI my 670s in the future. So my question is is there a motherboard that could do SLI within about £150 price tag?

I looked at this motherbaord: MSI 1155 Intel P67 4xDDR3 SLI Crossfire USB3.0 ATX Motherboard. Question is it good enough to support the 670 and the Asus Xonar DGX 5.1 Sound Card (PCI Express 1.0, Smart Volume Normalizer, Xear 3D Virtual Speaker Shifter, Magic Voice) at the same time.

This motherboard may (i'm pretty sure) be incompatible with the IVY bridge cpu that you have chosen, personally, you want a motherboard that just as up to date as the rest of ya rig. (Asus P8Z77 V would be a good choice)

I just wanted higher clarificated music and gaming experience.

Unless you have £1,000 plus of audio equipment you wont tell the difference between the onboard & an extra add in card - unless of coarse you have a very high end headset that is - £400 - £800 range , save your self the cash & potential over heating issues.

its interesting you mention about the soundcard being close to the pcb of the gpu baron,

I have a asus dx in the pci-e slot above my top 580. :)

I have to say that yes on board sound is more than good enough for most users, but for me, adding my asus dx and getting Dolby Digital in game was the best upgrade I made to my rig! Sounds soooo much better than onboard.
