graphics card question

hi

im currently using a laptop with a i7-2820qm processor and a gt555m graphics card.
looking at getting a desktop with overclocked i7-3770k to 4.8ghz and a gtx 680 graphics card

will i notice much difference in gameplay etc with the change?

thanks ive looked at benchmarks for the 680 but wasnt sure how it compared to the gt555m laptoop graphics i have as dont want to waste money if not going to notice a difference

From the link above for BF3 you get around 10fps on ultra (not playable) but with the gtx 680 close to 60fps.
