Graphics card upgrade?

Hi, just wanted some advice, i currently have a nvidia geforce GTX 970 graphic card in my Asus gaming PC with an intel i5-6400 CPU, had the PC a few years now, i wanted to upgrade my graphics card but wasn't sure on what would be the better choice and what not?

Can i get some recommendations please

As PCSpecialist sell custom desktops and laptops we can’t advise on self builds or competitor builds, you may want to check out toms hardware which is an open forum.

its not a self built, it was a purchased gaming PC but wanted to upgrade my graphics card but wasn't sure on what the next step up would be
