I wasnt sure where to post this, but how do I know if my build will support DisplayPort for my monitor? Im obviously a noob at this things and I just started panicking lol

I am no expert but i have just received a RTX 3080 Zotac model and it has 3 display port connections. I assume all models of the 3080 will have at least 1 display port connection

Yeah, display port is now the normal, so most high end gpus have 3 x dp and 1 x hdmi
