I've ordered a PC with a GeForce GTX 560 Ti card in it, assuming that it would be able to play Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on a full HD monitor - is this card not suitable for these games? Thanks

the normal gtx 560 ti is great on battlefield 3 and would easily max out the 5yr old cod engine, the recommended card for bf3 is the 560, and the ti is the upgrade and will play it on very high settings

The source link in the first post suggests that its really a 570 but with "one shader processor cluster" removed, rather than an updated 560 (click on the link but then navigate back to the intro part).

Therefore perhaps Nvidia are just updating the GTX "560" range so that it more than covers the latest games... or perhaps they are trying to get rid of excess components in advance of the 600 series cards launching next year (possibly in Q1)?

What about those watercooled cards? There is a CPU 580 Water cooler closed loop from the guys who make corsair water coolers

nah talking about with the yellow s flow fans which are probably the best fans available, dont want watercooled graphics tbh, too risky for something that price, same with watercooling all together imo

It's got the same type of cooling setup as a H60 - not contacting the actual system :p. But I get what you mean, noctua make some nice ones too :p
