Hi, I was wondering why in The 15.6" Vortex IV LE laptop with the GTX 860M it can't activate turbo in the CPU?

Can you post the full specs of the machine.
I am not sure if your config is different to the standard vortex IV le.

It simply states "Supports Intel 4th Generation CPU (No Turbo mode with 860m Model)" on the Processor Support part of the detailed specification.

I think it is to do with keeping temperatures low. For an official response you should contact PCS directly.
