GTX 970 Lawsuit

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, feel free to move it to the correct thread.

Hi, I purchased a PC from this website approximately 2 years ago and it has been great, no problems etc.
The GPU was a GTX 970 and now I am seeing on reddit that all GTX 970 owners are getting paid $30 due to a VRAM discrepancy lawsuit.

I was wondering how I will be able to claim this money?
Thanks, FJ13.

Not every owner just those involved in the suit.

If it was class action then you are automatically opted in unless you opt out personally, though im not sure if it covers world wide or not. all i can find is an article from 11 hours ago as of posting that says no details on how to claim yet so might be worth holding on a bit yet to see for sure.

It was a US class action lawsuit so I think it is only valid for US customers.

I did see yesterday that Nvidia agreed to pay "everyone who bought a 970" and it was people outside the US talking about it so might be some hope.
