guys, this is a disgusting way to treat a customer!

Like stated in a prvious post i recieved this email

We are currently processing your order (number 842113) but
unfortunately we awaiting stock of the following items:

ASUS® Z170-A: ATX,
LG1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs: - There is currently a problem with the latest
generation of chipset Skylake Asus Motherboards supporting DDR4 RAM at 3000 Mhz.
This isn't a problem with just machines purchased through PC Specialist, it is a
world wide problem. We are working closely with Asus to be able to resolve this
issues but as it currently stands we can no longer offer these RAM modules. If
you would like to resolve this issue and prevent and further delays, i would
suggest that we change to a working model which would be the 2133 Mhz or 2666
Mhz model which we know works.


Should you wish to amend you order to avoid
any further delays you can easily do this by logging in to your account and
clicking "Amend Order" on the orders page. If you would like to discuss your
order in further detail, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0333 011 7000
(option 1) Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm where myself or a member of our team will
be more than happy to help. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience
this may cause, and we hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

i contacted pc specialist and was put through to sean, he stated the email was in error and my spec come with 2666mhz not 3k so i should disregard the email, i accepted but went home to check, i was certain it came with 3k, i went to the review section where i ordered the Azure pc from and there in black and white it stated 3k, i rang back and believe was put back through to the same person, i made my point that the review specs from PC specialist website state 3k, he stated once you order the pc it amends this and changes it to 2666mhz, thats so annoying!! i feel like i have been miss sold, he kept going over the same ground about how it changes and i kept going over the same point of how the website states different to what the final sales page shows, again, MISLEADING, i asked to speak with a manager due to the fact this guy was rudely repeating himself to me and not listening to my point, he refused told me NO, i said how do i complain if you wont put me through to a manager he said email us....what lousy customer service, i feel like i have hit a brick wall over something so minor, i have always loved pcs, loved the forums and have ordered 3 pcs with them over the years and always had excellent customer service, this time i feel like a loser, and they do not care.

I thought they had changed it earlier, it is correct now though. It only says 3000mhz on the external review site. Personally this change doesnt affect me, the difference in ram isnt going to affect gaming, I dont do video editing etc so I just went along with it.

With respect, I think you are blowing up your discussion with PCS out of all proportion while forgetting the main point of the argument.

PCS have open and up front in stating that the 3000 Mhz ram is not available at the present time with the Asus motherboard. You therefore have a choice.
1. Wait until a compatible MB is available that does support the 3000 ram
2. Accept (or re order) the computer with 2666 Mhz ram.

I have to say that I do not know anything about the motherboard in question or your requirements. However, the default ram speed for DDR4 ram is normally 2133 Mhz. Only if overclocking would the higher ram speed be appropriate.

With respect, you just misunderstood my point, they were not upfront in saying the 3000 was not part of the bundle, if after I clicked order there was a message displaying the 3k stated in the review is not comparable and a 2.6 will be installed instead I would have no issue, my point is they stated 3k in the review and PCS are stating that changes once you have ordered which is misleading.
Plus the guy on the phone was condescending towards me, repeating that it changes after you click order which is besides my point, and he blatantly told me no once I asked to speak to his manager..... I mean cmon its almost laughable customer service, I will be taking it further with them, poor misleading links on their site and poor customer service, I want apologies not condescending attitudes

I work for PC Specialist because we pride ourselves in offering the best customer service we can, so if one of our staff has dealt with you in this way i can only apologise. I am currently out of the office so I cannot look into this fully but I have sent this through to the Call Centre Supervisor to look into in the morning and they should call you once their investigation has concluded.

Thank you in advanced for your patience, we will take every opportunity to make sure an issue like this does not occur again. We can also only thank you for returning to us previously and i hope we can sort this out amicably to restore your faith in our service.

Glad you are getting it sorted. Within your order is a messaging service. If (or more likely when) you need to contact PCS, you may find that quicker and more convenient than phoning or e-mailing.
