HDD drive disappeared

Hey Guys,

Been using my laptop for the last 4 years without issue, however today during a game download my hdd disappeared and i can't find it anywhere? Any ideas on this? It no longer appears in device manager. Have gone through windows updater and everything seems to be updated. I have download Seagate Seatools for windows program and the hdd doesn't show up on there either. I have alot of photos and files on this hard drive which i would very much like to keep. My pc specs are below:

Shut down the laptop and left it for an hour and it comes back? Unsure what happened could have been heat related?
It's a hybrid drive which means it has a small SSD cache paired to a normal HDD. It's likely the SSD portion is failing. They were never very good performers anyway and the cache wouldn't be used when it's a storage drive.
