On windows 7 64bit. I have hdd bay with 2 hdds each with 500gb capacity. The bay is set to striping which should give a total capacity of 1tb.
The problem is that when I boot into bios settings the drive is shown as a 1TB external drive BUT when my computer is on it only shows the drive as being 500gb.
I have tried both USB and eSATA cables, I have formatted multiple times. I have set the bay mode to standard and my pc recognises both drives so they are both working. I have ran out of ideas.
The bay is a Edge 10 DAS200. The manual says nothing about this issue, just that you have to change the setting on the bay and that's it.
