HDMI out

Quick question troopers - took delivery of my new VortexLE at the beginning of this week and so far I'm pretty impressed with gaming performance at 1080p. Should I expect a drop in performance when connecting to a TV via the HDMI out or (hopefully) should it be the same?

The image quality on my tv is not as good as with my monitor, it depends on the resolution and response time of your tv. Best thing to do is to try it.

Had a go at it last night, straight-out quality was prety decent but a bit of fiddling with the TV presets and things looked pretty good. Haven't found out how to disable the laptop screen display whilst outputting via HDMI yet mind you.. presumably there's a function key switch or something similar?

Windowskey+P. Lets you choose different types of display configuration. You want "Projector Only"

I always found that my older laptop ran very well when using a 42inch TV for a monitor.
