HDMI Sound Output

Hi,

I installed Linux Mint 16 KDE edition on my new Ultranote II.

I can't seem to get the sound to work through the HDMI cable to my TV.
The onboard speakers are fine and the display is output correctly, I just can't get the audio to work.

Tried many things on Linux Mint forums to no avail. I thought I'd try my luck here!

The HDMI option appears in sound settings but it doesn't output anything when selected.

Never mind - stupidly the speakers are broke, it worked on a different TV.
