HDMI Sound Please help

hi guys slight problem i have the 3gb palit gtx580 and a 32inch samsung 720p tvive tried connecting the hdmi to get sound from the tv but no matter what i try i get no sound. ive disabled the realtech sound card-nothing, the hdmi sound is enabled in the sound options and shows it as sound as a output is fine the tv works fine with xbox blueray player etc but nothing from the pc. any suggestions?

Have a read at your TV manual,
sometimes you have to fiddle about with the settings on your TV
to get sound from the PC through the HDMI connection.
Or possibly the HDMI lead needs to be connected to a certain socket on your TV ,
mines is HDMI 3.
