Headphone Jack Not Working

A couple of months ago, I posted a thread talking about how sound would play through both speakers and earphones when the earphone pin was fully inserted into the headphone jack. However, I have now got an issue where there is zero sound coming from earphones when plugged into the headphone jack. I was wondering if this is a hardware issue (in which case does PCSpecialist repair/replace these?) or a driver/software issue?

Here are the specs:

Have you verified it's not on mute (forgive me for asking)?

I can hear audio through the speakers perfectly (not muted). When plugging in earphones, the sound continues to play through the speakers with nothing coming through the earphones.
Yeah, I think given the issues you've had previously I would want an RMA, not sure why you've put up with it so long?

University deadlines meant RMA'ing my laptop wasn't possible until now. I'll see if they (hopefully) can RMA the headphone jack in the meantime

Yeah, makes sense.... I'd give them a call tomorrow if you can, they open at 10am tomorrow, you'd have to send in the whole laptop as it's part of the motherboard.
