I was just wondering if its worth buying an 120gb-240gb SSD from Amazon and re-installing the os on that? :)
Note: I'll be using this for design and gaming :)

It's in quality control, should I order a SSD from amazon and put it in when it gets here?

I would have suggested changing some bits but it would be quite late if it is in quality control. If you can afford an ssd go for it.
