No worries at all. If you could post up your thoughts once you receive the rig that would be really helpful for others in the same situation :)

Regarding the Xbox controller, if it's an XBox 1 controller, then it connects via Bluetooth so you should be fine connecting via the Bluetooth on the Wi-Fi card....My XB1 controller connects via a BT 4.0 dongle with no issues and your Wi-Fi card has BT 5.0.

My advice: After you have set up the computer and everything, try the controller via the Wi-Fi card's Bluetooth...don't see the point in getting a dongle unless you really need it, even if you can get one for less than £15
It is one of the newer controllers with bluetooth so hopefully it should work straight off. Thats brilliant news, thanks Nursemorph

No worries..it's only a matter of £15 but still. I got my XB1 controller in February and it connect to the bluetooth straight away with no issues so fingers crossed should be the same with you. And you can sit reasonable far away from the computer....I sit about 8 feet away from mine and the controller works without issue (every now and again the controller becomes unresponsive but it's maybe once every couple of weeks...though it always happens right in the middle of an online race rather than when I'm just driving around :ROFLMAO:)
Ha ha its always the case or just when you are finishing a fairly difficult mission

Seems like our posts got moved since we were going a bit off topic, but if you are asking what you can do with the build in regards to the game, it looks like it,s only valid on your initial purchase, and no amendments or changes could claim it. Unless you cancel and re-order. Id suggest you contact PCS though, and via the live chat feature from the site here they respond very quickly during the day!

Hi Guys
I am contemplating on changing my cpu from the 3900x to the 3900xt. What are peoples opinion on this, what will I gain?
Also memory ram, I have ordered the 16 gb ddr4@3600mhz. Is this the maximum ram or could I add more to it in the future @3600mhz?
Also contemplating upgrading my graphics card to the rog strix version. Thoughts please?

I wouldn't be too fussed with the 3900XT to be honest, it's only 100hz. If you want the bump then it's fair enough.

You can definitely add another 2x8GB 3600mhz if you want to.

The ROG Strix isn't worth it for the performance but the big advantage is you know exactly which card you are getting. There have been mentions of blower version 2080 Ti's etc. I wouldn't be so chuffed with a blower card.

The STRIX is regarded as one of the best, for performance and for temperatures.

It's all about money though isn't it. If you went for the 3900XT and the ROG Strix, you could have no regrets.

The build you listed above, for your uses, is about the best build you will get. Upgrading the CPU will not gain you enough to justify the large price jump. RAM-wise, that board can take up to 128GB so you can add another 16GB in if needed and be fine. GPU: It's up to you if you want to spend the money on the Strix....if you can afford it without sacrificing elsewhere then go for it as I believe it offers enough benefit to be worth it.
Thanks for your reply, the price jump on the cpu would be £50, is that a large price difference for the card?
I'm relieved to hear that more ram can be added, I was under the impression that was the max as that's the only choice in 3600mhz.
I will definitely go with the rog strix!

That is my main reason for changing it, also didn't notice they had two versions at first.

Oh, okay...thought the price jump was higher to be honest. Still, as Scott says, it's up to you...personally, I'd use that £50 to get a better mouse but that's just me.
RAM: Most motherboards can take 64GB+ these days. No idea why PCS limit the 3600 to 16GB....you could always try ringing/live chat and ask if they could increase it to 32GB if you really wanted...they have done it in the past for other people.
That is one thing I need to think about, a mouse, I only chose that one to help with setting things up. I am intending on using a controller mainly but will most likely need one on some games. What mouse would you recommend for a pc newbie?
I have the razer blackwidow x chroma keyboard!

Looks good that one.
As I will play on tv, away from a desk, I was thinking of a wireless mouse. Are there any good wireless mice and peoples thoughts?

Thats fine, cost isn't everything. Are they worth using, is there any cons to using wireless?
The ones over £100 will be around 1ms response time which is actually what wired mice will achieve as well, they’ve come a long way and are very doable these days.

The cheaper ones I’m fairly certain you’ll get a slight delay in actuation.
