Can anyone help me spec out a gaming PC? My current PC is very outdated and it’s time to build a new one but have no experience or knowledge with this. I only really play warzone/fps games - and have a budget of around £2k. Want best performance I can get for that price. Any help would be appreciated

What's it for? What monitor do you have? What is the budget?

Also, you have a weird SSD setup there -- any particular reason?

Mainly for gaming, I have an LG ultra gear 27GL850-B but I would upgrade my monitor along with the PC, it would probably be around 2.5/3k.

If I’m honest I don’t know much about PC’s so not sure what I would need, would you suggest a different set up for the

Awesome. I wouldn't change that monitor unless you specifically want to: it's a good display, even if not the most current. If you do want to change it, I'd think about what you're going to get before you buy a system, as really you want them to be a good match.

I'm going to presume for now that you're going to stick with the LG. If you want to change it, it would probably only need to be the graphics card that might want reconsidering.

First, the case. The Torrent is a great case, but it's designed for air cooling. It's not really suitable for a liquid cooling setup. So I'd either change the case (maybe the 5000X instead?) or the cooler (to a good air cooler). Personally I love the Torrent so I'd go for the latter, especially as the 7800X3D I'm suggesting really doesn't need a 360mm AIO to keep it cool!

Then I'd go in quite a different direction with an AMD CPU-based build, as it's overall cheaper, better performing, more efficient and cooler.
