Help for my first pc build

Hi, so as the title suggest i need help with buying a good pc, and i want to make sure i get the right parts for it. I'm still new to all this, so dont roast me to hard lol
It's in danish, because well that's the language i speak, but since the words are relatively similar i thought that maybe even people who speak English could help

Got a few questions to help us adjust your build.
What is your budget? Ideally in £ but kr will be fine.
What are you going to be using your PC for? e.g gaming, streaming, design, editing etc
What monitor do you have or are you looking to purchase? Make and model or resolution and refresh rate would be useful to know.

Made a few tweaks to balance your base. Left the gpu empty, until we know your gaming needs, monitor and expectations etc. Also, the cpu is a bit overkill for just gaming. A Ryzen 5 5600x would bring down the cost a considerable amount.

The budget is 15-16 thousand kr
The PC would be used for mostly gaming and maybe in the future streaming
I have not yet looked for a monitor, but a 1080p resolution i heard was in the sweet spot

My build + a 3060ti is within your budget but is probably overkill for 1080p and should do well on 1440p. i’ve personally just made the jump to 1440p and i love it, for casual gaming (i don’t want to brag, but i used to be top 300 on PUBG xbox 🤣) so i would definitely aim for 1440p if i were you.

Ok, so had a look at the PCS exchange rate. 16k kr is about £1440. Are you including the monitor in that budget?

My google search put it at £1900ish. Hmmm have you done swedish instead of danish? (Or have i maybe?)

It's SEK KR on the pcs website based on the config link, being a british company they may be less generous with exchange rates...

Never mind, it's my fault! Always remember to clear your cache kids! We've got a bit more money to play with then, let's see what we can do. :)

SEK stands for Swedish krona. I don't know why the link made it Swedish. It should be at 1900 British pounds if you convert it from Danish kroner

Thank you very much for your help, but isn't 850W for the power supply too much? The page says i only need around 458W, so wouldn't a 750W power supply be good too? And the case, does it have to be specifically that case? I'm quite fond of the white and pink one, so would it be possible to change to that one?

The increased PSU gives you room for upgrading in the future. The build should last you 7-10 years, and we spec the PSU to be able to last that time. You will need to upgrade your GPU in 3-4 years time, over the years they have continued to be more and more power hungry.

A 750W would be absolutely fine right now, but it would likely curb your ability to upgrade to a 4K ready GPU 5 or 6 years down the line. And for 100 or so kr it's worth the investment.
