Hello friends. My budget is around £1400 and I'm trying to put together a laptop for some heaving duty video editing in After Effects (and maybe some gaming ie. Cod, Skyrim etc).
I've been told I probably need at least 32gb ram, ideally with a processor from Intel's i7 or i9 series, or AMD's Ryzen 7 or 9. Looking at the suggested laptops on the sales page most have a bit less than 32gb ram, so I've upped it on this configuration. But can I just do that? Do I then need to make sure I've got a processor or a GPU that can keep up? Extra cooling gear? I really have no idea. Would it be simpler to get a desktop instead? Thanks in advance
