Could you please help me with these spec, my budget is £3000, need a good gaming / streaming PC I will not need to upgrade for 3-4 years at least

Went little bit over the budget but will change something probably

I am not sure, do I need 1000W PSU? What I am sure it that I would liek to keep 3080 TI at least.

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

Healthy budget to go with, but the build could do with some adjustments.

What monitor are you pairing with this? The 3080ti is a beast of a GPU, and it really warrants a 4k 144hz display, or 1440p Superwide like the G9 to make the most of. You will inevitably need to upgrade the GPU over the lifespan of the build; the performance gains made each generation means it is next to impossible to futureproof. Depending on your monitor selection it might be better to dial back the GPU to invest in a better balanced build, or keep some money in the bank for a GPU upgrade a few years down the line.

Thanks for reply, I am currently using LG UltraGear 32GP850 2560 x 1440p 165 Hz Monitor and was thinking of keeping it but may upgrade if needed. Budget of £3000 is just for a PC. I understand you can`t build one for a lifetime but would be nice to not worry about an expensive GPU or CPU for a few years at least. Need help with making the build balanced, something what will work together without any issues.

Hiya

Did you not recently buy a PC? Is this completely separate? You're not having issues with the other one?

Obviously this is your build, and your money, and you're welcome to spend it however you would like. Keeping the 3080ti in the build does eat up a sizable chunk of your budget. I've rejigged a few areas so the rest of the build is well balanced so that in my opinion you're not compromising the build to keep the 3080ti in, but we are slightly over budget as a result. The alternative is to look at a slightly cheaper GPU. For instance the 3080 10GB is still an excellent GPU and will be knocking 1440p out of the water for the next few years for sure, and substituting that into the build below would bring you in at £2656, comfortably in budget.

There's also the Intel variant to consider, the equivalent with a 12700K will also do an excellent job.

Case
CORSAIR iCUE 5000X RGB MID TOWER GAMING CASE Cheaper than the Coolermaster, but has excellent airflow and RGB goodness
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12 Core CPU (3.7GHz-4.8GHz/70MB CACHE/AM4) The 5900x is great for Gaming/Streaming. The 5950x is more geared towards heavy productivity work and actually performs slightly worse in gaming than the 5900x.
Motherboard
ASUS® ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0) - ARGB Ready! Dialling back a little on the motherboard will still comfortably supporting the 5900x
Memory (RAM)

500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W) Much faster Primary Drive for Windows and Programs
1st M.2 SSD Drive
2TB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3500MB/sR | 2700MB/sW) At this budget a separate games drive is a no-brainer. With Direct Storage starting to be implemented having this as fast as possible will begin to show dividends going forward so at least an m.2 drive is recommended, if you can splurge for a gen 4 drive even better.
