Honestly with a H150i EC, i’d recommend a Corsair case, so you can sync the fans and have a much better aRGB setup. Plus the 5000 can top mount the H150, where as i’m not certain about the coolermaster ones

I've done a little googlin and youtubin as far as cases are concerned and looked closer at the specs of the one I got(Mostly chose the one I did cause some other customer on the forums got it and was really happy with his AMD-based order).

Anyway, it does seem like the one I've currently picked has fewer fan mounts and none in the ceiling which might complicate things as someone mentioned before, I take it.

Corsair 5000D seems to have really good reviews overall and so does Lian Li Lancool 215. I would have wanted Lianli Lancool II Mesh but it seems like PCspecialist is offering a... non-mesh version of that unless I'm looking at it wrong. Coolermaster TD500 also seems to have mounts at the top so I was thinking of swapping to one of these. Corsair 4000D(or 5000D), Lancool 215, or TD500. Noticed 5000D is also advertised alongside the H150i cooler but I guess that makes sense since both are from Corsair... :D

A H150i would be front mounted on a 4000D and roof mounted on a 5000D and yes, Corsair are advertising their new H150i Elite Capellix with their new 5000D case and they are a great match

Do I also really need the network wireless card at all? If I drop that and the more expensive thermal paste that would give me a little bit more wiggle room. I take it if I really needed one of these things I could install one myself later, right?

Correct. I have one but have never used it. Plus with a Corsair cooler, the pre-applied thermal paste is actually better and as it is pre-applied to the cooler... it’s not something that can be messed up easily.

If you do decide in the future, that you want a wifi card, it literally just slots into a slot on the motherboard, just like a graphics card, but it doesn’t need power cables plugged into it

if your using a Ethernet cable then i would not bother with a wifi card personally i always go ethernet as i find wifi to sometimes be a unreliable connection
