Getting ideas for building a gaming PC. Mainly using PC for gaming, CoD, Doom etc. After reading previous forums I see that AMD are more reccomended over Intel nowadays but I'd appreciate any help with whether this build is appropriate and functional with any additional changes. Thank you. Budget is under £3000. Hoping to use 1440p monitor.

Ok tweaked it a bit, different case, 4*8 GB RAM @ 3200MHz (4 looks better than 2 and performs slightly better), changed the cooler and upped power supply, changed GPU to 3070Ti which would go nice on this monitor

Thank you for your advice. May I ask if the graphics card is OK at 8GB or will it be better to spend a little more and get the 10 or 12 GB?

The VRAM size is only part of a graphics card's performance. 8GB is plenty for anything up to 4K: certainly at those resolutions you'll be just fine.

Extra-large VRAM sizes are generally more aimed at those playing games at very high resolutions and texture details or more often at content creators or even crypto miners.

Can I ask where you are getting this from? The MB runs on dual channel not quad so any performance increase is highly negligible. Also why 3200 over 3600? AMD recommend 3600 and many tests have 3600 as the better RAM to have (although conflicting data can be seen with who runs the test). Cheers for any info given
