Help on new pc build please!

Hi people I'm looking to buy a new setup I'm not entirely sure how much to spend I just want somthing decent for high end gaming im thinking maybe £1000 or so and I know black friday is coming up so I'm thinking it's a good time right?

£1000 for just the PC, or the PC, plus monitor, plus keyboard?

If you already have a monitor, what is the resolution and refresh rate?

if you are buying a monitor separate to the PC, what is the budget?

I was thinking roughly £1000 on just the pc and £400 - £500 for the monitor, mouse and keyboard but I can choose them later as I havnt a clue on what setup to get, i have tried to do some research and I know a little bit but i just dont know where to start and what i would be better off doing. 4k gaming is outwith the £1000 budget unfortunately. You could maybe get 1440 but it wouldn't be particularly high FPS. Normally you would be looking at 1100-1300 for a good 1440p gaming computer. 4k is normally around £1500+

You could maybe get 1440 but it wouldn't be particularly high FPS.

To be honest, I think your build is fine for 1440p 144hz.

With a small compromise, opting for the previous chipset, you can get the 2060 Super with a super-fast M2 drive.

You'll get well over 60 in many titles at Very High /managed settings at 1440p. My 2060 certainly does. And a nice 1440p 144hz adaptive sync monitor would be a good investment - plus the Low Framerate Compensation would keep that GPU in the game for a good while.

Depending on storage one could easily get a 3000 series CPU in there:
