I think you've hit the nail on the head with the second one mate :) Couple of changes though:

1) go for homeplugs, better reliability than those wireless cards
2) Go for silver warranty for a fiver :)

I would also go for the 2nd spec, with just one or two changes. The cooler is over the top as your not overclocking the processor you can get away with the tripple copper heatpipe with no trouble. I would get a performance drive for your 2nd drive as the 120GB SSD will fill up quite fast, that way you will still be able to launch applications and games from your HDD very quick with a performance drive like the barracuda or the caviar black.

As for lagging, you just wont with that SSD as your main drive. You could play a game and record at huge resolution to that drive but you can be sure the drive will keep up.

If you were just going to be gaming i would have said stick with the i5, but because you plan to edit video too i would stick with the i7

Okay Thanks for the Reply I will consider some of these changes!

What about 2 Ssd's and One Hard drive?

Be a good idea to speak to guy a called NMEBowen, he has the same case, as I think the titan is pretty tall and may cause side fan issues. I'll drop him a line for ya.

Okay but don't worry Tom Because I'm lowering the cooler to a SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE INTEL CPU COOLER so it should be okay!

the 7970 will run anything on max mate, single fastest gpu on the market at the moment. have ya look at this thread, there's some videos there.

the antec 900v3 is a good choice, there's a full tower version the antec 1200 v3!

That looks like a solid spec, the only thing I would recommend is possibly upgrading the second HDD to a caviar black, it is much faster. Also, the 2TB caviar black is only £19 more than the 1TB caviar black...stuff to consider! And don't forget the silver warranty! Oh, and you may want to upgrade that psu to a 850w so that you can add another gpu later in a few years when one on its own starts to struggle with the new games.

Yes you could but when that time arrives, this gpu will be worth very little and a new one would cost a lot. It is cheaper to buy another of the same gpu and put them in cf/sli and then you get good fps and can play games at ultra again! It is just cheaper!
