Help with 2k build for recording and Gaming

Hey all

Slight PC newb here.. Dabbled a long... long time ago and any help much appriciated.
Im looking to buy a PC for gaming on and recording and editing gaming footage from the xbox and PC and wondered if someone with more than my meagre knowledge would suggest a build or help me with some questions. .
I'd like to use a black magic intensity pro card. Unless someone could suggest a better option? And any help on the subject of recording would be very useful too, as in would it be best to use an SSD for recording then transfer files to a larger SATA?
Im pretty sure you need a certain speed drive to record 1080 using the intensity pro and a lot of drive space so maybe not?
My budget is around £2000 for the tower but will stretch a little if it really needs to and if the PC will benifit greatly.
Do not need mouse, keyboard etc just the tower.
Would like a blu ray writer, although not essential (reader will do) and USB 3.0 (if you think its needed)

Also, looking at a new monitor. The Benq XL2420T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED Monitor has caught my eye.
Anyone have an opinion of a better monitor at around £299 for PC and xbox gaming?

Any help would be great guys and a good build would be even better.

Black magic intensity pro card will do the job fine unless you wanna rec 3d. I also have a BenQ monitor not that model though but i have to say they are great value for money. you could also save some money and change the psu to a TX850 & change the cpu to a i5 3550 but i personally would keep the modular psu & the i7
