Pretty much as the title says.
Will be mainly used for gaming playing everything from World of Warships to Battlefield, Flight Sim, GTA, Metro, DayZ, Pinball, Cities Skylines.

Heya! Looks like a good start but some areas we could change. Would you be able to provide us with your budget and the monitor you'll be using? Either make and model or resolution and refresh rate would be ideal!

Wow, that's quite a healthy budget!

So from the config link it looks like you have a budget of £3800 or so for a gaming PC plus monitor, mouse, keyboard and headset.

I think with that budget we can put together an awesome system for you. Please can you confirm that this is the budget you have and that those are the components that you're looking to purchase?

Yea man. I was. I waited for soo damn long then ended up getting really ill and a few things cropped up as well as circumstances changed so wasn't ideal to then go ahead with it so ended up cancelling the order.
Has the GPU issues sorted themselves out now?
Can't be waiting that long but will probs make the order end of Jan.

It's far better now, usually around 20 - 25 working days.

You were at the time when it was 100 days plus weren't you? That was not a fun period, although the cakes were awesome!

Eeesh, hope things are better now with your health and that you’re fully mended across all avenues of life. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was a stress related issue with the Strix 3080!

Anyway, it’s good to have you back with us. As @SpyderTracks says, waiting times are much, MUCH better now. I should hopefully not have to give you any cake if you put in an order in the near future 🙂

Sorry to hear about your ill health @GorDuf , hope you're better now and happy to see you back!

Moving onto the build itself, there's a couple of areas we could adjust. For monitors, I'd recommend looking elsewhere as PCS doesn't have the best choice. For a build of this calibre you should be looking at 4K 144hz. Our two picks for that are the Gigabyte M28U and M32U. The M28U is the better monitor, but the M32U is a more ideal size for 4K due to pixel density. I've also left the peripherals out as I believe you'd be able to get better deals for these elsewhere. Taking away the price of the build an the monitor, you'll have about £300 to spend on these which should be plenty!

Looking through the spec, I see you've gone for a very aesthetic choices, I've tried to replicate this in my build, but I have removed the STRIX GPU from the build. They add a lot of cost for very little/ no performance gains and I couldn't quite fit one into the budget with the state of the rest of the build. If you were to add it back in once it's in stock, it'd take the price to about £3100 for the STRIX 3080 (what you'd want for 4K 144hz)
