Help with a Gaming pc build for about £450 - £500

Hi there, Im Looking to buy a gaming pc for about 450 - 500 pounds, however I do not know what I would need for a good build for that kind of budget, If anyone could design one for me it would be greatly appreciated, All I need is a quad-core pc with a decent graphics card, basic monitor (18 inches is fine) and windows 7.

Im ideally looking for a pc that can play at the very most Battlefield 3 on like medium settings I guess, also to render videos. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

I would really suggest you try and save up some more money if at all possible, you can't get a quad core setup and a GPU for that kind of budget. From looking at youtube, i have found people playing with a 6790 and a dual core intel processor, on something approaching medium settings, so it is doable. The video rendering will take a long time on that machine though, but it really is the best you can get for the money.

Here is a base level gaming pc, quite a bit better overall. Thats the spec i would be aiming for i know it's a bit over your upgraded top end budget, but it's what i would advise if you can afford it.

If £600 is your limit drop the GPU to a 6850, not much slower and keeps you on budget.
