Help with Gaming PC Build

Basically I want a gaming PC (but not just for gaming, so fast for other stuff too!). I'm a complete beginner when it comes to PC building, so I was just wondering whether anyone could tell me roughly how much money a good gaming PC would cost? I'm looking at mostly singleplayer RPG games like The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 (when it comes out), preferably on high settings.

If anyone is willing, could you perhaps draw up a quick specification for the PC? I've been looking around and I love the Fractal Design Define cases, are these suitable for gaming? If so could you include that as the case? Also what is the best way to build a PC, should I buy the parts and do it myself or order it from a website?

You can change the case for the one you wish and you can check benchmarks for the gtx 970. First time I receive a negative rep for posting a build. I was trying to minimise the cost.

Keynes built me almost the exact same spec around 3 months ago and I have to say it is amazing. This will run pretty much any game of high settings so I would trust in Keynes
