That GPU will struggle with any decent settings on games, if that's ok til you can get a better card.

Do you need to DVD players btw, you should only need one unless you're planning on doing an awful lot of copying.

What case are you planning on sending in?

For £650 i think you should start by forgetting about a SSD. They sure are nice to have but for gaming you really want to throw that money at the GPU.

Will run much better in games because of a HUGE GPU upgrade. Dropped the SSD and put in a performance 1TB drive which is more than fast enough. Dropped the cooling as at most you only need a tripple copper heatpipe, the fenrir is overkill.

The changes I've looked at so far are:

ASUS® M5A78L-M/USB3: M-ATX, USB 3.0, SATA 3.0Gb/s
Change to: ASUS® M5A99X EVO:USB 3.0, SATA 6.0Gb/s, Quad CrossFireX™/SLI™

80GB INTEL® 320 SERIES SSD, SATA 3 Gb/s (upto 270MB/sR | 90MB/sW)
Change to: 2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD2002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)

600W Quiet 80 PLUS Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (£59)
Change to: CORSAIR 650W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX650 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE (£72)

I have decided to stay with the lame GPU for now, until I have enough money for a decent one, mainly as I feel fairly confident replacing this myself. If I do replace it a few weeks down the line, what would you recommend on a budget of £150ish?

Went for a budget but nice-looking case: http://www.ebuyer.com/160914-caseco...se-with-front-120mm-red-led-fan-kj-3392-black

What do you guys think of that?

Thanks for much for your input, it really is greatly appreciated!

Personally, that case doesn't do anything for me.. But each to their own :) IMO, i'd wait till i have enough money for the GPU, as i'd want to play games on it as soon as it came, and having a naff GPU would depress me, knowing that i can'tgame.. But if thats what you want to do, go for it :)

I am FAR too excited to wait another month to get the pc haha!! I like the look of the case, as long as it will accept a decent GPU eventually I will be happy :D

Thanks for the advice :)
