Firstly I wanted to ask how much more battery life would I get by upgrading the battery.

Is there any kinda of room for improvement that doesn't cost too much more.

Finally I have a free copy of windows 7 professional 32/64bit thanks to the MSDN for studying computer science at university , so I should be able to easily install windows from a cd?

Thanks, I just wanted so actual hours, and thanks for the windows part seems easy enough just wanted to make sure. Battery isnt a huge deal, but there are times were I might need it to last a while so just wanted to know how long each one would be with general use.

Finally 1 thing I forgot is there support for optimus graphical switching, hoping so given the name.

The Optimus model has an independent GPU button which functions once the hotkey drivers are installed.

Great news, just got paid today so just going to wait for my money to clear and buy this bad boy tomorrow .

Also would you have any recommendation on a cooling pad thats also comfy enough to use on your lap?? Been reading about some worrying temps on these forums from people with similar set ups as I expect to buy.
