How bad is the BiWin SSD? Mine is exceptionally bad for installs

Here it is downloading a steam game, it peaks up and down with speed when constantly writing, say at 15MB/s it goes normal 15MB/s then grinds to 1-2MB/S then jumps to 100MB/s then goes normal again.. I have the pic of the graph

It was cheaper than the Kingston V300s when they used to stock those (they seem to have the V300s in stock atm again and it's still cheaper) so I imagine it's pretty.. basic.

What model of Biwin is it? Can you find out? Maybe under devmgmt.msc or the components > disks section of msinfo32? I've always wondered.

I've looked for benchmarks of budget Biwin drives but haven't found many. There's this guy who benched a 120gb Biwin A3 (granted Sata II but even that wouldn't fully account for the vastly lower 4k QD1 scores: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/ssd-upgrade-sata-3gbps,review-32673-6.html): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz9aYTbA_w0&feature=youtu.be&t=218

Storage isn't my thing so I can't tell you about the inconsistent speeds. I assume you're happy it's not your internet. If it's also nothing to do with the installation process and different kinds of files, the lower speed could be because it is just that cheap.

I'd be interested to know the model and see a crystal disk mark of your Biwin, if you had the opportunity to do that :)
