How do I find the serial number and check number of motherboard please

I found the serial number by using CMD, I am trying to register the motherboard with ASUS, but it needs a CN too.
Any help is appreciated.

I really don't want to pull out the case and open it, as it's a mission under my desk and not easily accessed.

Cant imagine it being in the manual but have you checked your welcome pack to see if its in there?
Ive a feeling you're going to have to check the board itself, unless theres a card with the details in teh pack. S/N will probably have been on the outer packaging which will have been discarded during building.

The CN is only available on consumer boards, these are OEM so don't have the same warranty with Asus, it's done through PCS.

I have tried various cmd commands, and what ever serial number it gives me, Asus says, error wrong serial.
I think the only way is to open it up and look.
But it's literally slotted under the desk next to a PS5 and a steering rack.
Going to be a PITA to get it out and open it up
The armoury crate app, was the one asking for a CN, when I went to Asus website it just wants the serial number, but still, even when I do the command, on the website, Asus, it comes with the name etc of correct motherboard, but says serial number is wrong.

From what Spyder has said, its already registered and youd do any claims through PCS

As already said, there is no CN number as it's not a consumer board, so you're not eligible for Asus warranty.

I could well be wrong, if it is going to be anywhere it will be where the serial number is printed on the board.

No, it is nothing to do with the warranty, I have full insurance with PC Specialist.
It's to do with the points Asus give you, 5000 I think.
You can buy games etc with it.
