How do you contact PCSPecialists

Unfortunately wait times on phone are very long at the moment. What software, most of that is via download.
I bought Microsoft Office License but software not loaded. Instead it keeps pushing me to 360 which is not much use when i don't have internet access which is why i bought Office

Unfortunately i have already spent over 2 hours waiting on the phone and i have a job. Waiting an hour is annoying, waiting an hour and only moving 3 places further up the queue is wrong. If they are that busy why not take my phone number and call me back when they are ready - that would suit me as long as i can spend the interim time doing the job i am employed to do

Been on hold over 2 hours and getting the feeling i am only moving forward when other people give up
Emails, Tweets and FB comments unanswered
Live Chat has no one available

I bought a new computer and the office software i purchased was omitted. Have been trying to contact PCSpecialists ever since to put this right. they do not respond to any contact and I am certain the only reason i moved up the queue on the phone is because people ahead of me gave up.

This is my second computer for PCSpecialists, all i can say is when they get it right they are good and when they get it wrong they don't want to know.

Shan't be using them again

If so busy why not take name and number on phone and call back. I have a job, i cannot hold on line for any longer

Depending on which item you would've bought a Microsoft 365 license (presumably not) or one of the office digital licenses (as they are the only things available)
PCS wont install the software for you afaik as it is just the license you've bought, you would I believe be expected to download the software yourself (to wherever you want) and then apply the license key you will have received.

I could be wrong but I think that's how it works.

What email have you tried contacting them and how long haven't you received the answer? PCS, as any other PC builder, are now extremely busy. Demand is high. Could you drop us your pc specs from the online account orders page please?

Like I said this morning, I got in touch with them pretty quickly and called at 9:18am and was done by 10am.

If time is of the essence, then I'd recommend calling at 8:59am and keep trying until you are through and on the line waiting. That way you'll wait no more than 20-30 mins tops if my example is anything to go by.

Last computer i bought it came already loaded - this time nothing, not even a key. I am mediocre at IT, I could download it but i have paid £122 and don;t have a key - would be simple if they had more people to respond - but i can't spend hours on hold - wish they would just phone me back - i would not mind if they said it might be tomorrow or the day after - anything but being on hold whilst trying to do my job

I will try tomorrow - could not this morning as i was on the phone to the court - problem with having a job is it gets in the way - wish they would give me a time they would phone back and i could arrange my time around it - anything is better than being on hold for 2 hours...........

PCS don't do call backs. They have no time in any case, they're dealing with an insane volume of calls given the global delivery problems.

Can you please post the FULL build from your order? Leave nothing out. We really can't offer any reasonable advice unless we can see your full build I'm afraid.

Hi - that is illogical. If they did call backs people would not have to stay on line due the the insane volume of calls. I started phoning at 8.58 this morning - got through on my fifth attempt to be caller number 3 - it is now 9.15 and i am caller number 2 - at 10am i have a work meeting - if i am not done by then i will have to give up and start again tomorrow - other companies take tour name and number and phone back - i would not care if they said they will phone back on Friday - just as long as i can slot it in to my work requirements. Now my mobile is tied up which is most unfair

I have posted the invoice. All i need is for Microsoft® Office Home & Student 2019 (1 Digital License) to work - it is most forgivable that it was omitted but i am now in to my third hour of hanging on to the call and it is affecting my work which is really unfair

Note: I have deleted the PDF @charlesm as it had your name and address in it (and you don't know who could be reading these forums):

The important info (for this issue) was:
Chassis & Display Initia Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD 60Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen
(1920x1080)

Operating System Windows 10 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence [KUK-00001]
Operating System Language United Kingdom - English Language
Windows Recovery Media Windows 10 Multi-Language Recovery Image - Unlimited Downloads from
Online Account
Office Software Microsoft® Office Home & Student 2019 (1 Digital License)
Anti-Virus NO ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE.

So yes as you can see it is indeed a digital license, which means you have to download it and the key for it will be in your PCS account (not sure where)

This is beyond my IT skills - i don't know how to do that - this is why i am phoning PCSpecialist - after 1/2 hour i am still caller number 2 - how do i find out how to do this - i can follow instructions but i can;t make them up

Thanks for removing the invoice - as you can see I am not that IT wise - it was a friend who said buy it here - wish i had gone to currys like i normally do

Is there no way you can download it? Its very unusual now-a-days for people to have no way to access the internet - if your phone has data access (that wont cost an arm and a leg) you could use it to get it downloaded - I'm sure one of the forums members could give instructions how to use your phones internet connection.

One thing I will say though is that Microsoft has gone more online so even with a PC from Currys it may be down to you to download and install it still, but i dont know. Unless you go buy a CD/DVD copy of Office - which may or may not still be around

RAKK - i don't know how to - i am in the office, we have a very fast internet connection. As I said if someone gives me instructions i will follow them. If you would like to know about absorption costing with the treatment of overtime in overseas factories then i am your man but this is a colleagues computer and all i need is an easy to follow instruction and i will follow it

Last time i bought a computer i was given a bit of card with a website and a key, i followed the instructions, it took less than 5 minutes -
this time NOTHING

I have tweeted and emailed PC Specialist - i am still caller number 2 at 9.53 - that is 53 minutes

Is there no way to get the key i bought?

Sorry I must have misread :(

I think this page may well be useful: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/get-office-and-microsoft-365-oem-download-page

I haven't used that exact one cos I have Office 365, but yes as far as I know Microsoft do force you to have an MS account of some kind now for Office

The key I believe will be somewhere in your PCS account on the main PCS website, not sure where though as I've never bought any software from PCS except Windows.

The email lead times I think are currently about a week mostly due to stock shortages through the industry afaik , not sure about tweets as I just dont use Twitter.
