I would opt for the ASUS gaming motherboard if available (you didn't post link to the build which makes giving advice easier)
You want 2x8GB sticks of RAM rather than going with 1 off. You will get a benefit from filling the channel.
An M2 drive is a must nowadays. Way faster than any ssd and similar price. I would recommend 500GB as 250 is cutting it fine when running at 50% capacity ( you will notice slow-down after this point)
I wouldn't opt for the frostflow cooler. Either the standard cooler or one of the coolermaster offerings would be better.

if you let us know the following :

  1. What it's going to be used for
  2. What the budget is
  3. What monitor it's going to be used with (resolution & refresh rate, or make and model)
  4. The configuration link

1. Just gaming
2. Budget was £1400
3. The monitor was the iiyama 165 hz 1080p for about 135 pounds only want to do 1080p gaming
4. the link to the build:https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-home-office/rnBv9vRQUd/

Some adjustments are the ram is: 1 x 16 3200 MHz
Case: Lian li lancool 215
PSU: 750W RMx series
case fans: 3 sickle flow 120 argb

Also with the build link accidentally built it in the wrong section went for the budget of £400-800 instead of the £1000-4000 so the options on the link is limited.

You might need to cancel if you have already ordered as the link you sent is from the office based PC rather than the high end ones. That's likely why the options were a bit more limited.
yeah I noticed late but I called them and they where able to just upgrade it anyway :)

You've called them already? They're closed aren't they?
whoops I wasn't clear in what I said I made a few adjustments before like a few days ago that I couldn't do with the home options then they where able to remotely upgraded from there end. So ill call later today to add these upgrades

SpyderTracks

We love you Ukraine
budget hasn't really changed made all the adjustments but was thinking of getting a better motherboard?
A better motherboard would cost more.

The motherboard isn't going to improve performance at all, it just gives different features.

But if your budget is higher we could rebalance the spec to give better performance.

I believe Im able to add an extra 150 pounds to my budget should I upgrade the Ryzen 5 5600x to the Ryzen 7 5800x?
I also changed the motherboard aswell to the Asus x570 plus wifi

if you're going to go 5800x you'd also need to up the cooling to one of the capelix coolers
