How to change LED colours of my keyboard ? (Recoil 2 series)

Hello Everyone,

I received 2 days ago my laptop and I noticed the keyboard LED colours are basically "rainbow" pattern in the background, and I actually ordered it with the colours of the UK flag. Is there any way I can change it??

It's a known issue. RGB keyboards cannot display the UK flag but can only show rainbows or an all-blue LED background with a maximum of a dozen yellow keys. A fix is expected to roll out alongside the Windows 10 '31 October Update' later this year.

In the event you were being serious, to control the backlight you'd need to use 'Gaming Centre' which is driver/software for the chassis.

If you don't have it, or you do but it's not behaving, you can download it from your main PC Specialist account and try (re)installing

I am being serious, I paid one extra pound and I was expecting to have it as I selected.

I thought PCSpecialist would deliver it to me working. I will download this gaming centre program in order to change it.

The UK keyboard you selected is a keyboard with the UK key layout, not a default UK flag.

Obviously you customise the lights how you like.

It seems to happen relatively often that the control centre software for laptops isn't behaving quite right when it arrives. I'm not sure why. My suspicion was that a Windows update that gets installed (automatically) when the owner uses the system for the first time might interfere with it. Or perhaps the automated setup process PCS use isn't 100% effective.

If Gaming Centre doesn't behave tomorrow you can always give them a call to check what the issue is.

I found out the "gaming centre" software..ir came installed. But the thing is, it does not hold the pattern I create for my keyboard. Every time the system restarts, it reset to the standards. Annoying.
