Hey guys.

My girlfriend needs a laptop which she is planning to use solely for eBay. The features that I'm ideally looking for are:

  • Cheap price (max £250, around £200 better)
  • SD Card
  • 4gb RAM (if possible)
  • >14" screen, >15" probably better

She will literally just use it to go on the web, so things like CD drive etc are redundant. Hopefully it won't be too sluggish considering the price range.

For the OS I already have a copy of Win 7 lying around somewhere so that should knock off a bit off the price.

If you could recommend me something that would be great :)

Update - on investigation, PC specialist seems to have a bottom price of around £300, which is slightly over budget so I am open to other stores in UK)

As these forums belong to PCS who sell custom PC's and laptops, we can't comment on competitor builds or self builds.

If you wanted advice on other manufacturers, I might recommend Tom's hardware which is an open forum.

You won't be able to spec a machine from PCS for that budget I'm afraid.

My bad, I did think once I posted it that people probably aren't allowed to recommend competitors. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll keep searching :)
