I need advice on my gaming pc

I'm looking for a computer that will allow me to play a variety of different games, anything from MMOs to games like Halo wars and shooters.

What's your budget?

You could stick to 8gb RAM and spend what you save on getting a 144hz monitor. Could be nice for your shooters.

Around 1300 mark.

Is this better for what I want it for? Will it last me a few years without needing upgrades?

I would strongly suggest sticking to the i7 CPU, especially for futureproofing. And the fast RAM.

An SSD won't help gaming performance. Plus you can add an SSD any time you like in the future. And when you do, you can add a decent M.2 NVMe one rather than a really cheap one that will probably perform worse than a lot of Sata drives.

The Noctua is expensive and while a great cooler isn't worth switching to for your purposes. The titan would be fine, or the CM212x if you wanted a bit better cooling.

The PSU is small and will limit your future upgrade options.

I thought your first build was a lot better, and wouldn't have changed anything other than optionally the RAM and monitor as suggested :)

If it's not an urgent purchase you could wait for October when Intel release Coffee Lake, and review your options then.
