I want to sell my Gaming PC

I bought this at the start of 2014, for roughly £1,150, wondering how much I could get for this and where is the best place to sell this,

Do I need to do anything special to the computer before selling it?

Ebay is probably your best bet, though some sites (like gumtree) are more locality focussed, so you are more likely to get people to pick it up. Best to wipe the drives (there was a thread on this recently, but I forget the recommended software for wiping it.

If money is tight and every $ matters fof a new build, you could also look at getting rid of some components seperately.

Edit: here's the thread: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...63-Want-to-sell-old-drives-how-do-I-wipe-them

As above. You definitely want to wipe the HDD before selling it.

How much you'll get will depend on what people are willing to pay, so there's a degree of luck there.

If you were selling it to part-fund a new system, you could consider upgrading your current system instead.
