Hi all,
I bought the Optimus Series: 17.3" Matte 4K LED Widescreen (3840x2160) laptop about 5 years ago (April 2018).
I've been very happy with it, there's been absolutely no problem with it, until about 3 weeks ago...
The illuminated keyboard started to flicker. The Fn F4 button altered the brightness, but it continued to flicker.
Today, the illumination finally gave up. I'm fairly sure it's a hardware problem and not a driver S/W problem. I'm open to any suggestions if someone suspects that it maybe a S/W issue.
In the meantime... Is a replacement illuminated keyboard for this model laptop still available? If yes, would it be reasonably easy to replace?
