Input not supported

It may seem dispiriting, but it all helps narrow down the cause.

We know the monitor itself is fine as it works with your Mac. Probably not the HDMI cables either, as it is highly unlikely that all three HDMI cables are faulty (and besides, at least one works when connecting your Mac to the monitor).

So we know the issue is with either the PC or its graphics card. Hopefully the tests with the TVs may give us a bit more info.
Okay, it’s appeared on the TV now!!!

Can you check what settings Windows has for the screen resolution and the refresh rate? We can then check to see if they are too high for your monitor to support.
Okay, we lowered the resolution using the TV from 800x600, plugged it back into the monitor and it came on! We’re in display settings now so what resolution would you suggest we set it to? And thank you so very much for your help!

You should be able to go full-HD. That is, 1920 x 1080.

If it conks out again, we can reconnect it to the TV and lower it back down. However, I am sure it should support 1920 x 1080.

You have a decent graphics card in that PC. However, whilst it is capable of much higher resolutions than 1920 x 1080, it is limited by, as you have experienced, what the monitor can support.

Happy New Year to you all!
