Insufficent power supply?

I am planning to get a new computer to do some serious programming and sound/video editing that would be able host a small server in the future, so I set one up at the custom pc editor. The thing is that after completing it, I realized that the maximum requiered power is 1403W, but the biggest power supply available is 1200W.

My question is: is it feasible to run the computer on that power supply?

How'd you figure it'll take 1403W to power it all? The configurator is usually pretty good with the power requirements and doesn't throw up an issue when selecting the 1200w PSU. Might be worth contacting PCS to get a definitive answer.

The website calculates the power the computer needs after you save your quote.

So it does :) I've not noticed that before. Strange because normally it would tell you that your PSU wasn't big enough when you click continue.

It's probably worth getting in touch with PCS directly to see what they suggest.
